You ask, we answer

Is there a booking policy?

Yes, you can book a table with us, but as your neighbourhood local we will always work hard to make room for you if you want to just rock on in.

What are your opening hours?

We are open from 12 pm Monday to Sunday every day until late.

Do you have a dresscode?

Neat casual is fine including sneakers and shorts.

Can I BYO?

Nope, we are a fully licensed venue and BYO is not allowed.

I've booked a table, where do I go?

Ask a team member or at the bar and we will do the rest.

Can I buy a gift voucher?

Absolutely! We offer vouchers in $25, $50, $75 or $100 to be used in one transaction. Give us a yell at  kiaora@moglybar.co.nz for more info.

Can I bring kids?

Sure! We have a kids menu and have high chairs available on request. As we are a licensed venue, kids are required to be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times.

Is your venue wheelchair accessible?

Of course! The whole venue is flat level and wheelchair accessible. Feel free to give us a call 09 265 1622 for more info.

How can I hire the karaoke room?

The karaoke room is $10 per person per hour with a minimum charge of $50 per hour. The room can be booked here or at celebrate@moglybar.co.nz.

Do you have vegan and gluten-free options?

We offer a variety of plant-based and gluten-free options. Check out the symbols on our menu or talk to a team member for more info.

Do you have a gender-neutral bathroom?

Yep, we sure do!

What are you doing to be more sustainable?

From a menu with loads of plant-based options to our takeaway packaging that is 100 % biodegradable and plastic-free. Our venue is fully powered by renewable energies. We are always looking for practices to be a little greener, kinder and fairer. Contact us if you have any feedback or input about this topic.

Age restriction

We are 18+ only from 10pm. Kids must be supervised by a parent or legal guardian at all times.

Zero tolerance for discrimination

Unacceptable discrimination, including racism, sexism, ableism, ageism, homophobia and transphobia, has no place anywhere least of all in our bar. We strongly encourage anyone who experiences such behaviour to immediately talk to one of our team and we will take appropriate action.

Where can I park?

The multi-level undercover carpark is accessible via Mahy Place or Ormiston Road/Hapori Lane.

Additional parking is also available on the surrounding streets; Mahy Place, William Ralph and Bellingham Roads and provides convenient access to external retailers.
